Tale of How es un corto genial de un grupo de animadores de Sudáfrica que han trabajado durante nueve meses en sus ratos libres en este proyecto. La deliciosa ambientación mezca 2D y 3D y tiene un nivel de detalle enorme, con un toque como teatral o de ópera (de hecho el fragmento que suena es operistico y va narrando la acción).

Otto is an octopus island where all the Piranha birds live on. His broken heart has mad him so mean that he eats piranhas even when he's not hungry...

Tale of How may just for a moment, take the viewer away from this overwhelming chaos that we've grown so accustomed to. And to hold him there in a state of suspended disbelief. It's about being liberated to another Realm, not necessarily a better place, just a brand new place. An escape from everything, a place where there is no such thing as cause or effect or gravity or skin colour, taxes, snowmen, car crashes, swords, dragons, giraffes, NASA, spaniels, chocolate bears.....

Amazing short animation by The Blackheart Gang, the collaborative effort of Ree Treweek and Marcus Wormstorm (who also worked at the music). Did I say this is amazing?

Notas:
