Sinopsis:
Michael, un estudiante americano viaja hasta Quebec para pasar la Navidad con su novia Gabriella y su "peculiar" familia, los Connelly. Poco después de llegar, Gabriella rompe con él. Un mal principio para unas "inolvidables" vacaciones... Los Connelly no son una familia corriente y Michael será testigo de excepción. El padre es un excéntrico escritor que se pasea desnudo por la casa; la madre una actractiva, pero sobreprotectora mujer; la abuela confunde a Michael con su difunto marido y las dos hermanas de Gabriella no cesan de mostrar interés por él. Cada momento, en casa de los Connelly hay una nueva una sorpresa. Aburrirse con ellos es algo imposible.
