Lo maravilloso de Franju es que todas sus películas, largas o cortas; ficción o documental, están trufadas de un halo de frío misterio, de una atmósfera de hálito poético, de un espíritu de triste melancolía. Un cineasta absolutamente personal, de carácter auténticamente autoral; toda una rara avis.
