Robert Bray, best known to baby-boomers as "Ranger Corey" on TV's Lassie, is cast as Mickey Spillane's rough-edged private eye Mike Hammer in My Gun is Quick. Mike's mission this time out is to solve a murder and a jewel robbery. He faces opposition from two warring criminal gangs, but when has that ever stopped him in the past? Co-starring as a typically Spillanesque cool blonde is Whitney Blake, who like Bray later gained TV fame in a more sedate role on the weekly sitcom Hazel (incidentally, Ms. Blake is the mother of actress Meredith Baxter). Not quite as accomplished as Robert Aldrich's classic Mike Hammer yarn Kiss Me Deadly, My Gun is Quick works well within its modest limits.

TV Guide review:

The third of UA's Mike Hammer films in the 1950s finds Bray slugging it out with the baddies in an effort to discover what happened to an important diamond ring. In the end, it's revealed that his girl is responsible, but not before the usual number of fisticuffs, killings, and love scenes are presented. This is a lesser work in the series. Though well-crafted, the story is shallow and not really worth the efforts given here. The violence is often senseless and the sex seems to exist only for its own sake. Well produced, but still a boring and tasteless piece.

Los subtítulos en español son resultado de la traducción de anubis40 de los subtítulos en inglés del BD; un magnífico trabajo.


De la sincronización del doblaje se ha encargado nuevamente Santi(agoo), que indica que:
La pista de doblaje contiene lo que parece ser un doblaje para TV autonómicas emitido en 1998, según dice la base de datos que elaboran los expertos en estas cosas. Por la fecha y el cliente que encarga los interesados en la cosa ya podrán imaginar que la cosa es la que es, y no hay más. Como fuente de trabajo se tomó un mkv de la mula de 0.97 GB y de autor desconocido, con los ajustes necesarios para este nuevo vídeo.
