Jim "Lucky" Moore es un vendedor de seguros, y le vende una póliza a su mejor amigo, Steve. Pagará un millón de dólares si él no se casa con su novia Cynthia. El matrimonio está en peligro por la ex novia de Steve, Micky, y la desaprobación de la tía de Cynthia. Pero Steve viaja al Caribe para encontrarse con su novia.
