Hace poco vi Designing Woman y aunque la recordaba con agrado me sorprendió más que gratamente, tiene una buena dirección, buenos actores y un muy buen guión (que ganó el Oscar, muy merecidamente en este caso).

Como yo soy un tipo "formal", era de suponer que Minnelli fuera uno de mis preferidos. Y lo es.

Estas dos son las que tengo en la lista A. Luego hay otras que también me gustan mucho: "Father of the Bride", "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse", etc. El musical no me tira demasiado, aunque "The Band Wagon" y "Gigi" están entre lo mejor del género. Y de las de menos fama me quedo con "The Reluctant Debutante" entre las modestas y "Home from the Hill" entre las más-ambiciosas-algo-desequilibradas.
